授業の概要
Students will study topics related to Europe. This means that students will read about a topic, discuss it, and learn about European countries, concerning their history, culture, and people. Students will also check the internet and get information about the topics, and present it. The class will involve tasks that involve collaboration.
学習目的
By taking this course, students will deepen their understanding about European countries. Students also will improve their English ability to:
1. comprehend the main ideas and key points about topics
2. discuss content critically
3. use all four English skills to communicate about topics
4. 21st Century Skills (critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration skills, digital literacy, and global awareness)
到達目標
Students will have developed their ability to think critically about Europe and its relations to the other part of the globe. They will also have improved their communication skills to convey their ideas in English.

Below is a tentative weekly plan which the teacher may change.
Week 1：Orientation + Unit 1 Week 2-7: Each Unit (comprehension, discussion) Week 8: No class (Mid-term test period)
Week 9-15 Each Unit (comprehension, discussion) + One time Presentation Week 16 Term test
